F&B awarded latest ISO accreditation

Far & Beyond Funeral Services are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 accreditation for quality management systems (QMS).

ISO 9001:2015 is an international industry standard which establishes a set of policies, processes and procedures required for the day to day running of the organisation. The standard is a globally recognised symbol of reliability which enables F&B to identify, measure, control and improve its core business processes.

The primary aim of ISO 9001:2015 is to enable organisations to deliver a better service or product by developing structured systems backed up by thorough documentation. This includes documenting all aspects of service delivery including procedures, work instructions and data collection policies.

These procedures should be easy to understand and define the expectations, actions and responsibilities of the members of staff who are expected to carry them out. This ensures every member of staff is working towards the same goal of providing exceptional levels of service for the customer.

As part of the process, these systems and procedures should be regularly audited by both internal and external bodies to ensure the QMS remains in compliance with the requirements of the accreditation standard. This gives the customer confidence that they are dealing with a professional organisation, no matter where in the world they reside.

Far & Beyond Funeral Services went through the accreditation process to ensure our funeral services are carried out in a professional and consistent manner. Being a customer-centred organisation F&B needed a system that actively provides and monitors the service levels that our customers demand.

The QMS we have developed to comply with the accreditation standard ensures that all our customers receive a consistent, high quality, professional funeral service. It also ensures that we do not rest on our laurels and continually work to improve our procedures and the service we provide to our clients.

As a funeral director, we also felt it was important to achieve this level of accreditation to prove our level of professionalism. Choosing a funeral provider is a stressful time for everyone. Our new ISO 9001:2015 accreditation gives relatives the peace of mind that they are dealing with a professional organisation, that will deliver a consistent and caring level of service for their loved ones.
